Hello! My name is Akira, and I am a Graphic Designer for hire.

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I am a proud bilingual Maritimer with an insuppressible need to create. J’offre aussi mes services en français! I discovered my passion for design when analyzing old propaganda posters – falling in love with the tandem use of typography & illustration to evoke a message.

In pursuit of my vocation, I graduated from the Nova Scotia Community College’s Graphic Design program with honours. It was there that I became fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite. With these tools and knowledge, I propelled myself into a professional career in design. Now, with over six years of professional experience, I take great pride in producing high-quality print and digital design, publishing and layout design, illustrated vector graphics, and a host of expertly crafted marketing materials. I have experience working alongside a design team & independently as an in-house Graphic Designer to various small to medium sized businesses.

I bring a passion for optimized & meaningful design and a purposeful approach to every project I take on. My professional experiences have helped me to develop and refine my unique process and project management skills to always achieve the perfect final product for my clients.
